What we collect
Usage analytics
Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, records the pages you view and actions such as viewing a component, changing a setting, copying code or an install command, and copying an AI prompt. It also records your browser, device and approximate location, which Google derives from your IP address. We use this to see which components people use and where the site falls short.
In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec, analytics cookies stay off until you accept them. Until then Google receives only cookieless signals. Elsewhere analytics runs by default, and you can opt out below.
Product analytics
PostHog receives the same events through this site’s own address (arclenui.dev/ingest). It runs without cookies or browser storage: PostHog derives a daily anonymous ID from a one-way hash and drops your IP address before processing. We use it to see how people move from viewing a component to installing it.
Advertising measurement
The Meta Pixel, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells Meta when you view a component, sign up, start checkout or buy, so we can measure and target ads on Facebook and Instagram. It sets the _fbp cookie. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec it stays off unless you accept cookies. Elsewhere it runs by default.
Your account
If you sign in, the Arclen account service gives this site a session token and your email address. We use them to show your account and check Pro access.
Payments
Stripe handles checkout for Arclen. We never see or store card details.
Preferences
Your theme, language and sidebar choices stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
How long we keep it
Analytics events are kept for 14 months. Sessions expire after 8 hours.
Who receives it
Google (analytics), PostHog (product analytics), Meta (advertising measurement), Vercel (hosting), the Arclen account service (sign-in) and Stripe (payments). We don’t sell personal data.
Where it’s processed
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When data leaves the EEA or the UK, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Why we’re allowed to use it
Where the law requires consent, analytics and advertising cookies run only after you give it, and you can withdraw it at any time. Cookieless measurement and hosting logs rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site. Your account and payment details are used to provide what you signed up for.
Your choices
Decline cookies in the consent banner or change your choice on the cookies page, block cookies in your browser, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The cookies page names everything this site stores.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or limit how we use it. Write to support@arclen.io. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Arclen UI is for people who build websites and apps. It isn’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
